Safety and Health


  • Safety Protocols: Employees must adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment. All employees are WHMIS trained and certified.
  • Health Standards: Regular health and safety training sessions are conducted.  Employees are required to report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.


On-Site Work Expectations


  • Punctuality and Attendance: Employees are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled shifts and be ready to work at the designated start time.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized. Proper disposal of waste and cleaning of tools and equipment after use is mandatory.
  • Task Execution: Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and to the highest standard. Follow specific instructions provided for each site.
  • Customer Interaction: Maintain a polite and professional demeanor when interacting with clients. Address any concerns or questions promptly and escalate issues to supervisors as needed.




  • Reporting: Employees must regularly report to their supervisors with updates on progress, any issues encountered, and completion of tasks.
  • Feedback: Constructive feedback is encouraged. Employees should feel free to share suggestions for improving processes or addressing challenges.


Training and Development


  • Ongoing Training: Participation in ongoing training programs is required to stay updated with the latest cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use.
  • Skill Development: Employees are encouraged to seek opportunities for professional development to enhance their skills and advance within the company.


Compliance and Accountability


  • Adherence to Policies: All employees must comply with company policies and procedures. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

On-Site Work Details


On-site work at Clean Sweep involves physically being present at the client’s location to perform cleaning services. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Interior Cleaning: Tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, washing, and sanitizing surfaces within parking facilities.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Responsibilities include litter removal, pressure washing, graffiti removal, and maintaining cleanliness of the surrounding areas.
  • Equipment Handling: Proper use and maintenance of cleaning tools and machinery, ensuring they are operated safely and efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with team members to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently, maintaining open communication and supporting each other as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying and addressing any issues that arise on-site, such as spills, hazardous conditions, or customer complaints, in a timely and professional manner.
